Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Emmi found her love for the arts at a very young age. She was a competitive/state champion dancer in high school and also entered the competitive hip hop dance circuit throughout college.
After receiving her BA at DePaul University, Emmi went on to attend and graduate from the renowned, The Second City Chicago.
Shortly thereafter, Emmi made the move to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career even further.
Since then she has booked many short films, feature films, commercials and has worked with truTV, FunnyorDie, and Elizabeth Banks to name a few.
Emmi is also a graduate of the Upright Citizens Brigade and The Second City Chicago and loves comedy and improv. A former UCB Diversity Scholarship recipient, Emmi comes from a very diverse background as well.
Emmi loves to create work that is not only moving and powerful, but also full of laughter!
She continues to audition, train, and remain driven!
